You finish a high Pit run, stare at a near-miss Amulet, and wonder whether spending D4 Gold on the current character makes sense when the next expansion might be around the corner. My answer: build for Diablo 4 as it exists now. Lord of Hatred remains the publicly identified expansion, Patch 3.1.2 is part of the current live cycle, and Season 14 is where your loot, Paragon choices, and endgame grind actually matter. Overcharged Aspect is a great example of why small build tools can matter more than rumor threads.

Rumors Need a Reality Check
